Adrian Peguese Carter is an accomplished litigation attorney based in Florence, South Carolina, with a practice focused on personal injury, premises liability, and complex civil litigation. She has extensive experience handling automobile accident cases and other civil litigation matters, working diligently to secure fair and just outcomes.
Adrian is licensed to practice in South Carolina and North Carolina and is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. A product of Florence School District One, Adrian attended Dewey L. Carter Elementary School, Southside Middle School, and South Florence High School.
A recognized leader in the legal profession, Adrian was named the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division’s Young Lawyer of the Year in 2024. She serves as the 12th Circuit Representative for the Young Lawyers Division and co-chairs its Diversity Committee, while also contributing to initiatives such as Protecting Our Youth. Beyond her legal work, Adrian is a mock trial coach for Wilson High School and serves on the board of the Pamplico Development and Resources Center.
